Lexington KY Chiropractor Dr. Kyle Pelphrey
A hometown practice built on accurate diagnosis, careful documentation, and care plans with a finish line.
Kyle Pelphrey, D.C.
Dr. Kyle Pelphrey is a Lexington native dedicated to providing evidence-based, patient-centered musculoskeletal care to the community he proudly calls home. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Kentucky and completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he built a strong foundation in clinical diagnosis, rehabilitation, and advanced spinal care.
With over 14 years of clinical experience, Dr. Pelphrey has treated thousands of patients across a wide spectrum of conditions, from everyday back and neck pain to complex spinal injuries and trauma-related cases. He is known for thorough examinations, detailed documentation, and a collaborative approach to care. His clinical focus emphasizes accurate diagnosis, functional restoration, and measurable outcomes.
He has completed extensive post-graduate training in advanced imaging interpretation, spinal trauma, impairment ratings, non-surgical spinal decompression, extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT), and Class IV laser therapy, and stays at the forefront of research and technology so patients receive modern care grounded in current evidence.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Pelphrey enjoys time with his wife and their two daughters. A lifelong Kentuckian and avid UK athletics supporter, he spends his free time traveling, reading, attending live music events, and boating on Lake Herrington with his family and their dog.
Abigail “Abi” Dawson
Abi joined Pelphrey Chiropractic in May 2023 shortly after graduating from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a minor in Wildlife Biology and Management. Her studies in kinesiology deepened her understanding of human movement and the importance of maintaining overall health and wellness.
As a chiropractic assistant, Abi helps patients feel welcomed, supported, and cared for throughout their treatment journey. Because chiropractic care is a process rather than a single visit, she values the chance to build real relationships with patients as they work toward recovery.
Inside the practice
A working clinic, not a spa: exam and adjusting rooms, on-site digital X-ray, a computer-controlled decompression table, shockwave and Class IV laser units, and a rehab area.
Come see the difference a careful exam makes.
